11 My sons, do not neglect your duties any longer! The Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him, and to lead the people in worship and present offerings to him.”
We believe this should be the heartbeat of all worship/music ministries. Here at UBC, we understand the importance of worship, both corporately and privately. We desire to teach and encourage our congregation each week through bible teaching, music, scripture reading, tithing, and various other elements that help us draw close to the Father. It is our desire that people would live everyday unto the Lord and worshiping Him through a life of obedience.
The music ministry is a vital part of the corporate worship services at UBC. We choose to sing songs that are true about God, whether the songs were written 400 years ago, or yesterday. We also desire to be relevant to our culture without sacrificing truth, so we believe God has called UBC to sing songs using a modern, contemporary style. We believe that music helps people connect their hearts to God and desire our time of singing to be powerful and glorifying to our God.
We are always looking for people who want to serve UBC with their gifts and talents. There are many different worship services where music is included so we are always looking for people to serve. Please contact our worship pastor, Kevin Peters, if you would like to get involved.
