Our Heart

Then Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18-20

Here at UBC, we are passionate about fulfilling the call of Christ on the Church to go into the world and infect change through missions. In Matthew 6:10, Jesus taught his disciples to pray that God’s Kingdom and will would be done on earth, just as it is in heaven. Christ also revealed to his followers that whatever they did to the “least of these” among them, it was like they had done it to Him. Following the example of Jesus to seek after the poor, oppressed, lost, and marginalized, we at University Baptist Church strive to share the love of Christ by building relationships and meeting needs in our community, as well as supporting organizations that reach across the country and across the world.
